Brea Mall
If you need to get a little shopping done, Brea Mall is the place to do it. Locals and visitors frequent the Brea Mall often because of its wide range of store and dining options. The mall is open everyday from 10 am- 9 pm, except for Sundays when it is only open until 7 pm. The Brea Mall is home to over 175 different stores and vendors throughout the two floors. The mall also features four major department stores!
City of Brea Art Gallery
To add a little more culture into your life, head down to the Brea Art Gallery where you can explore the various artwork, visit the current featured exhibition, or even take a workshop! The Art Gallery offers a range of art workshops for adults as well as watercolor events in which they invite a guest speaker to lecture.
Color Me Mine
For the kid-friendly version of an art experience or workshop, head down to Color Me Mine! This fun activity is great for the kids and is the perfect choice if it’s either too hot or cold outside. Color Me Mine offers individuals of all ages to choose a ceramic piece to paint- you get to choose from a range of plates, bowls, mugs, trinket boxes, figurines, ect.- then choose the colors they’d like to paint it. Once you have your piece and the colors, the design and paint job is entirely up to you! After your piece is complete, you simply give it back to the staff to glaze it, then you are able to pick up with final project in less than a week!
Improv Brea
Improv is one of Brea’s best date night activities! The comedy club brings in some of the most famous names in the business. A night here will ensure a great deal of laughter and banter. With a full food and drink menu, you don’t even need reservations to anywhere else! There’s also the option to host a private event at the comedy club! Carbon Canyon Regional Park
This community park is a great place to come on the weekends for relaxing fun or during the weekdays for exercise! There is something for the whole family at the Carbon Canyon Regional Park. You can bring your own picnic and have lunch on the grass or the picnic tables, or cook out at one of the barbeques offered. There’s also a variety of hiking and biking trails depending on your level. The park has five playgrounds for the kids and eight tennis courts, two backstops for softball and three sand volleyball courts for children of all ages. The large lake in the center of the park can be fished at either of the two piers available.
Red Lantern Escape Rooms
The largest escape room in Orange County, Red Lantern is a 1,000 sq ft escape room where teens and couples come from all over the area to brave the challenge. This is certainly a great late night activity for the weekends and visitors have nothing but amazing things to say about the experience! The Red Lantern escape percentage is 33.7%.
